Zebra LP2844 Printer to be used as standalone barcode label printer?

I want to purchase a label printer along with UPC barcode in it. I want to use it after scanning QR barcode or Ztech barcode to print a label with readable text by custom design on 4" wide label. I think LP2844 might work for this purpose. Please suggest me about it or suggest me a better label printer to be purchased.
