Why does my xbox 360 game keep freezing up?

I'm in florida right now, and I've been playing bioshock 1 on the xbox 360 providing for the homes. Then like 2 or 3 days ago there was a power surge, and when I played bioshock again it kept freezing up! What's the problem? The xbox 360, power surge, or what?
