Which bat would be the better buy?

I would go with Demarini. I've never like Nike bats or the Louisville Sluggers. Right now I have a Demarini Vexxum that's a year old. It's been absolutely great and Demarini is always very durable. I love using any Easton bat, but I've seen people break them within a week of buying them multiple times.
