Delta Airlines Question?

I purchased some tickets from Delta and they sent an email with a barcode on it and it says "Scan this barcode at a self-service Kiosk to access your reservation". I'm going to print my boarding passes online so do I still need to scan that barcode when I get to the airport? ...first-time flyer! (:
