Buy new gun: mini14, ar15, AK, or SK?

I've owned several AR's, a Mini 14 and an SKS. I've shot several AKs, but never owned one. My vote would be for the AR15... hands down. The customizing options are endless and the accuracy is comparable to any bolt-action. Look at the A2 Carbines from DPMS and Rock River. You can definitely stay under a grand on an AR.
