Could recent surge of Pacific ROF activity be related to its position as the antipode of the S.Atlantc Anomaly?

I've noticed parts of the region known as "The Pacific Ring of Fire" are in the antipode of the magnetic disturbance known as the South Atlantic Anomaly. Is it known or speculated whether or changes in geological activity in the PRoF might be linked to the fluctuations occurring in the SAA?
