Can an Amtrak kiosk read a barcode off an iphone screen?

I purchased an a train ticket with Amtrak, and I was just wondering if anyone out there has successfully printed their tickets at one of those kiosks by scanning the barcode directly off the iphone's screen. I would imagine that the screen is too reflective (I'm using the first version of the iphone) but I'm not sure. Also this might depend on what kind of scanner is being used.
